LIGHT SLEEPER–Chicago’s a Light Sleeper is an ever-evolving quartet exploring collaborative composition from the bottom up, featuring breezy intertwining melodies from saxophonist Maria Elena Hernandez and violist Traci Newhouse, D. Pennepalli’s idiosyncratic guitar lines, and drummer Matthew Jung’s graceful clockwork core. SONUS UMBRA— Progressive rock band: currently geographically dispersed between Chicago and Abu Dhabi, but established in Mexico City, back in the 20th century. If you want to hear shadows made of sound, we invite you to join us, take the great fall inwards and listen.
